As we all know, accurate communication is a key element in every day life. In an emergency situation, accurate and timely communication can avert disaster, save lives, and protect your community. In non-emergency situations, accurate communication can alleviate frustration, confusion, and increase efficiency in any scenario.
School2Phone is a three tiered emergency and non-emergency mass notification system that utilizes voice messaging, email, and text message.
Our simple and easy to use system allows for thousands of messages to be sent in just minutes. Parents and students can opt to receive all or any combination of the following for each account:
- Up to two phone numbers for voice messaging
- Up to two mobile numbers for text messaging
- Up to four email addresses
EMERGENCIES
Emergencies can happen at any time and in any place. That is why School2Phone wants to be sure your students, parents, and faculty members are fully aware of every situation at all times.
We understand that emergencies are just that, emergencies. That means the power could go out, phone lines could be busy, roads could be closed, and most communication could be shut down.
School2Phone will keep your community informed. In an emergency situation that shuts down phone lines and power, we rely on our 3rd tier text message notification. As SMS text sends only small bits of information, it will still be operational when many other forms of communication have failed. In addition, our system allows administrators to send messages from a web based cell phone or PDA device.
NON-EMERGENCIES
Practices get cancelled, field trips return hours late, parents need to be reminded about upcoming events, School2Phone is happy to provide a simple solution to keeping everyone informed. School2Phone allows different levels of administration to send notifications to certain groups. For example, the swim coach can send a message to the swimming team and their parents notifying them that the swim meet has been moved to another location due to a conflict. Parents can be reminded that the school play is only one week away and that tickets are now available. Any simple "speed bump" can be eliminated by an administrator logging on and sending a quick message to the appropriate group.
